Maggie Adams, MFA

Maggie is the Multimedia Graphic Design Program Director at the Larimer campus. Maggie worked in the industry as a designer for over 20 years. She graduated in 2002 from California State University San Bernardino with BFA in Graphic Design, minor in Studio Art, and got her MFA in Graphic Design from CSU in 2018.

At Front Range, Maggie is the rock star who is making our program so successful. She has expanded the course offerings, hired professional industry instructors offering a variety of skills for students, started a portfolio review, a student-led design agency, an MGD annual Art Exhibit, and spearheaded a department-wide magazine AVANTART. She also partners with industry professionals on projects and internships, provides Honors opportunities and much more.

Maggie mentors students one-on-one and she is focused on ensuring they are career-ready when they graduate from FRCC.
